Privacy policy
93 Technologies (“we”, “us”) makes software for businesses, including Laundesk (laundry management) and tools for sending and receiving WhatsApp messages. This policy explains what personal data we handle on 93technologies.com and in our services, why, and the choices you have. It is written to meet India’s Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023.
Two kinds of data
- Our own customers’ data: business owners and staff who use our software, and people who contact us (name, business name, phone, email, city and message). We use it to provide the service, set up accounts, support you and send account emails.
- Our customers’ customer data: each business keeps its own customers’ details in our software, such as names, phone numbers, addresses, orders and messages. The business decides what to collect and why. We process it only on that business’s instructions, to run the service. Questions about that data should go to the business first.
WhatsApp messaging
A business can connect its own WhatsApp Business account to our software through Meta’s sign-up flow. When it does:
- The business keeps ownership of its WhatsApp Business account, phone number and message templates. It can disconnect at any time from its Meta Business settings or by asking us.
- We receive and store the messages, contact names and phone numbers, and delivery and read statuses needed to show the business its inbox and send its messages, templates and campaigns.
- We use this data only to provide the service to that business. We never use it to send our own messages, never sell it, and never share it with other businesses.
- Messages are sent and received through the WhatsApp Business Platform run by Meta, under Meta’s own terms and privacy policy.
- Businesses must have their customers’ permission before sending them WhatsApp messages, and must stop when a customer opts out.
Where data is stored
Data is stored on Amazon Web Services in Mumbai, India, with encrypted backups. Each business’s data is kept separate from every other business. Access is limited to people who need it to run and support the service.
Who we share it with
- Amazon Web Services (hosting, storage and email sending).
- Cloudflare (website hosting, domain name service and email forwarding).
- Meta (WhatsApp), only when a business connects its own WhatsApp Business account.
- Google, only when a business connects its Google Business Profile.
We don’t sell personal data, and we don’t use it for advertising.
Cookies
This website uses no advertising or tracking cookies. Our apps use only the cookies needed to keep you signed in and to keep the service secure.
How long we keep it
Account data is kept while the account is active and for a limited period afterwards for legal and accounting needs. Messages are kept while the business uses the service, unless the business deletes them sooner.
Deleting your data
- Businesses: email hello@93technologies.com from the account owner’s email address and ask for your account to be deleted. We can export your data first if you want. We delete it within 30 days and confirm by email.
- WhatsApp connection: disconnecting your WhatsApp Business account stops all new data. To also delete the messages and contacts already stored, ask us as above.
- Customers of a business: please ask the business you dealt with. We will help them delete your data. You can also write to us and we will pass your request on.
Your rights
You can ask to see, correct or delete your personal data, or withdraw consent, by writing to hello@93technologies.com. We reply within 30 days.
